Why do you #ChooseAdventure?
Adventure is all about physical & mental challenges that provide a positive goal, fun & endorphins. Being a two-time cancer survivor – adventure provides balance in my life and health focused goals.
Adventure makes you feel...
Adventures push me beyond my comfort zone and truly make me feel alive.
Favorite type of adventure?
Cycling, skiing & anything that involves speed.
Favorite adventure to date?
Cycling the Camino de Santiago road route in Spain – 900 kilometers in 15 days through the Pyrenees in Spain. My first cycle/camping adventure. I loved both the ascents and the descents (which provided ample endorphins!).
What is your next adventure planned?
Ski season is coming to a close so I’m thinking about where Rosie (my mountain bike) & I will head to – the road is calling! I am still formulating the vision & hoping that the funds will appear.
Your ultimate adventure bucket list is?
I’d like to do a tandem para-glide in my home town of Pemberton, BC, learn to scuba dive somewhere tropical & an ocean kayak/camp trip.

My sister-in-law Jeannine Gaulin who is seventy & has recently climbed to Everest base camp & who also planned & participated in our Spain cycle trip.
