ADVENTURE ITEM YOU CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT?
HOW DOES ADVENTURE IMPACT YOUR EVERYDAY LIFE? (work, play, family choices, etc.)
It makes it more exciting and vibrant
HAVING A VOICE. What Are Cause-Based Topics/Issues You Are Speaking or Doing Something About? How Can Others Help?
Systemic racism. White supremacism culture. The cis-hetero-patriarchy. Lack of access and equity for POC and marginalized communities, who often live in the more resource-rich parts of the world. Deforestation. The illegal global black market trade of illegal species. The selling off of US public lands for profit. Be aware, be educated, and don't forget to fight for what is in your backyard.
WORDS OF WISDOM OR ENCOURAGEMENT TO SOMEONE WANTING TO EMBRACE MORE ADVENTURE IN THEIR LIFE?
Adventure doesn't have to "look" like anything. It doesn't have to be skiing off the top of some crazy glacier, although if you did, that's rad! It doesn't have to be sailing around the world, or even anything close to that- adventure can be a short hike in the afternoon with a friend, it can be learning to swim after hating water, it can be trying spicy Indian food even though you don't like spice, or driving your car in busy traffic despite being nervous, or adopting a kid, or going back to school. As long as it lights your heart on fire, it's an adventure, and no one else can tell you what that will or won't look like.
