Congratulations to snowboarder, Marie-France Roy, for joining Patagonia’s Ambassador Program!

Not only is Marie known for being one of the most stylish and versatile riders in snowboarding, she has also been recognized for her humble and giving nature.  She is the recipient of the 2015 Climate Activist Award from Protect Our Winters and Transworld Snowboarding Magazine as well as being named one of ESPN’s Top 50 Best Female In Action Sports in 2015.

Originally from Quebec, she now splits her time between Whistler and her self-built, environmentally-minded cob home on the west coast of Vancouver Island.

“We couldn’t be happier to welcome Marie to the team. Her experience, environmental values and attitude are a perfect fit for Patagonia.” says Josh Nielsen, Global Marketing Director at Patagonia.

We are not only inspired by her amazing skill, but by the love and passion she put into building her own sustainable home!

Check out what she was able to build over 4 years! Congrats Marie, we are excited to follow your journey!
